Save the jaguars’ home

Right now, the jaguars’ home is on fire. Greedy land grabbers are lighting fires to clear land in Brazil for cattle and soy production.

They’re doing it because the demand for meat is insatiable. Giant multinational companies like Cargill bring most of the Brazilian soy to the UK to feed cows and pigs, and later, we buy pork and beef in our local supermarkets.

We can stop it. Major supermarkets from around the globe want to force Cargill, “the worst company in the world,” to protect one of the last important homes of the jaguar – the Cerrado region in Brazil. But the biggest UK supermarkets haven’t committed yet – let’s tell Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, ALDI, and ASDA to stand up to Cargill.

Fourteen years ago, thousands of people stood up and demanded that Cargill stop selling soy from deforested land in the Amazon – and it worked! We were able to help protect the Amazon – now we need to save the jaguars’ home in the Cerrado.

Your supermarket must tell Cargill to stop the fires or they’ll take their business elsewhere. We only have a few weeks until supermarkets around the world send their demand to Cargill. We have to act fast!

Tell Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, ALDI, ASDA, and other companies to save the jaguars’ home!
